PRODUCT INGREDIENTS
All the ingredients in our products have provenance. This means we know exactly where they come from, how they are grown and harvested and their nutritional profile.
Dentalzyme
A proprietary blend of of plant-based enzymes that target the main populations of gram negative bacteria found in the mouth which also live in the gut. These bacteria are responsible for forming biofilm, plaque, tartar and bad-breathe .
Not only can DentalZyme help to combat these issues but also promotes teeth whitening.

It contains compounds with anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant activity to help combat gingivitis and help prevent gum disease and thus can be helpful in supporting the innate immunity in the oral cavity.
Golden Flaxseed
Many of our products contain golden flaxseed for its rich, natural source of beneficial unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs).

Our Golden Flaxseed contains the essential fatty acids, Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) which is an omega-3 fatty acid and the omega-6 fatty acid, linoleic acid (LA). These are considered essential fatty acids because the body cannot manufacture them from any other substances. ALA is easily converted by the body to the other beneficial *PUFAs EPA (eicosapentanoic acid) and DHA (docosahexanoic acid).

Lactobacillus Delbruekii
Matcha
Fermentation of soy meal with Lactobacillus delbrueckii results in the generation of numerous molecules which are thought to be beneficial to gut and immune system health, specifically exerting anti-inflammatory and wound healing effects on damaged internal tissues.

It can help maintain the integrity of the digestive tract and supports cell regeneration as well as easing acid reflux.
The Matcha in our products is specially grown for these blends. Grown high on the mountain and shade covered to increase the chlorophyll, the Matcha is made traditionally, without the use of artificial colors, preservatives or additives, and ground on ancient stone grinding wheels

There is much research on the benefits of Matcha, including its rich nutritional content, its effect on metabolism, its anti-oxidant potential and its effect on mood and relaxation

Our inclusion in the Oral Guard blends is also due to it being clinically shown to have anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial activity in the mouth as well as being scientifically shown to react with salivary proteins and decrease the production of soluble carbohydrates involved in caries formation

Melon Extract
Primary anti-oxidant potential comes from dried melon extract which contains Superoxide Dismutase (SOD). SOD is an important enzyme involved in the defense in nearly all living cells exposed to oxidative stress and has been shown to have a beneficial affect on the body's vascular and mitochondrial system. Consequently, SOD combined with other ingredients in our blends can support a healthy tissue immune response and joint environment, supporting athletes in high intensity training and competition, as well as older people wanting to maintain an active lifestyle.
Oat Flour
Our oat flour is gluten free and supports both gut and immune health as it is a rich source of beta-glucans that are present within the hulls. Beta-glucans are a source of non-starch polysaccharide dietary fiber for fermentation by microbiota of the large intestine.
Research indicates numerous health benefits including anti-inflammation, immune-stimulating, and gut microbiota-modulating activities. Oat flour has also been shown to have the ability to beneficially modify short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) production, protective effects against an intestinal parasite, protection against bacterial infection, and a synergistic effect in antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity.

Omega Fatty Acids from Fish Oil
Omega-3 used in this formula is in a triglyceride form and sourced from accredited, sustainable and tested marine sources, ensuring there are no heavy metals or toxins present. Due to the special microencapsulation there is no strong fishy smell and the product has a long shelf life
This natural fish oil is a rich source of DHA (docosahexanoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentanoic acid) and has a total fatty acid content of 72% by weight. Evidence-based research shows that these fatty acids exert anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant effects on cells and tissues in living mammals, as well has having beneficial effects on cardiovascular health, immune health and brain function.

-
Supports maintenance of healthy, robust cells
-
Supports cell and tissue anti-inflammatory activity
-
Support immune health
-
May improve mood and reduce anxiety
Need to be taken with a fatty diet to be absorbed or can take with ALA like in our products to increase absorption.
Reishi
Reishi mushroom (also known as Ganoderma lucidum) has been used in traditional oriental medicines for thousands of years. Evidence-based research shows specific effects including anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-diabetic, anticancer and promotes cardiovascular health, healing of gastro-intestinal ulcers, immune health, and liver health. Some, but not all of these beneficial effects are associated with the betaglucans.
· Contains beta-glucan prebiotics to support beneficial gut microbiome
· Supports maintenance of healthy tissues
· Supports immune health
Ganderma lucidum contain: polysaccharides, dietary fibers, oligosaccharides, triterpenoids, peptides and proteins, alcohols and phenols, mineral elements (such as zinc, copper, iodine, selenium, and iron), vitamins, and amino acids.

Note: Selenium in the reishi mushrooms helps speed up the antioxidant pathway.

“The responsible bioactive compounds belong to several chemical groups, very often they are polysaccharides or triterpenes. One species can possess a high variety of bioactive compounds, and therefore of pharmacological effects. The best example is G. lucidum, which not only contains >120 different triterpenes but also polysaccharides, proteins and other bioactive compounds (43,143).” PMC

Saccharomyces Boulardii
Saccharomyces boulardii is a type of yeast sourced from the skin of such plants as lychee and mangosteen. It has been used in certain systems of medicine for a long time, Saccharomyces boulardii is thought to aid in the treatment of a variety of gastrointestinal disorders and is considered to be a probiotic. We use a source of Saccharomyces boulardii that has 20 billion CFU per gramme.

Early research is indicating that Saccharomyces boulardii may help with the following conditions:

-
Immune function
-
Repopulation of gut microflora
-
Crohn's disease
-
diarrhea
-
irritable bowel syndrome
-
ulcerative colitis

Further research is needed however, including for other claims that it may help with UTI's, yeast infections and high cholesterol,

Saccharomyces Cerevisiae
There are over 9000 different strains of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, all with different properties and DNA fingerprinting.
We use a high quality yeast derivative from proprietary strains of Saccharomyces cerevisiae as a well-balanced supply of bio-available nucleosides. These strains are selected as they contain essential and high sources of protein (nitrogen) such as nucleotides, free amino acids and peptides, L-glutamic acid, as well as other important nutrients that are richly present in these yeasts.
Sodium Bicarbonate
Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) is used as a gentle way to elevate gut pH due to its antacid activity. Slightly raising gut pH is also associated with maintenance of a beneficial gut microbiome.
• Supports gastric and intestinal health
• Supports beneficial gut microbiome
Baking soda is a natural salt used for millennia for its health benefits in animals and people
When mixed with water it is pathogenic to some bacteria found in the mouth
Scientifically shown to resulting in reduced plaque formation and prevent against gingivitis
It is chemically reactive, and contributes to whitening of the teeth when used in the long term, without producing lesions on the enamel
Synozyme
Synozyme is a proprietary blend of plant-based digestive enzymes, carefully selected for their role in joint and tissue health and immune function.
Trehalose
Trehalose is a double-glucose disaccharide that, in addition to being a safe, natural sweetener is important in the regular of tissue repair through a process termed autophagy.
• Supports gut health
